Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Quotara ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including shop owners, estimators, and any other personnel added to an account.

2. Description of service

Quotara is a cloud-based quoting and shop management platform designed for small job shops and manufacturers. Features include quote creation, work order tracking, customer management, and reporting. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts and registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. Each organization is responsible for all users it adds to its account.

4. Free trial and billing

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to the Service. No credit card is required during the trial. After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in Canadian dollars. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including customer records, quotes, and work orders. We do not sell your data to third parties. If you cancel your account, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, during which time you may request an export.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, to interfere with the Service's operation, or to upload malicious code. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quotara shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue or data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
